Robots were created to make human work easier. They were designed and constructed to replace humans in some activities. The materials that robots are made of come from raw materials that need to be found and acquired. This is geologists' and miners' work. Then, robots give humans all their effort back. For instance, robot drones are utilised to gather information in geology and mining, but also in geophysics, geoinformatics, water management or ecology. Afterwards, sets of the acquired data is further processed and turned into 3D models of surfaces or space beneath the ground, or simulations of natural phenomena. But drones can't last forever. What is the next step?
