Albertov is a unique location with excellent transport connections and easy access to the city center. The buildings of the Faculty of Science, the First Faculty of Medicine, and the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics of Charles University surround the landscaped Albertov slopes, remnants of medieval fortifications, the Ztracenka garden, and the Botanical Garden of the Faculty of Science. In addition to the Botanical Garden itself, the faculty buildings also house unique museum collections—some of which will be open for direct viewing during the Researchers' night.
