Valeo operates a research and development center in Prague, where more than 700 engineers—experts in technology and innovation—are based. Thanks to their work, some of the most advanced systems for active safety and autonomous driving are being developed here.

A multidisciplinary team of software and hardware engineers, mechanical designers, test engineers, and system specialists develops technologies that protect vehicle occupants and enhance driving comfort. In Prague, innovations such as parking assistance, emergency braking systems, blind spot detection, and traffic sign recognition are being created and continuously improved.

But the center doesn’t focus solely on safety—comfort inside the vehicle also plays a key role. A dedicated team is responsible for the development of automotive air conditioning systems and interior control panels.
