Ask a Scientist

The "Ask a Scientist!" project has been answering public questions for over four years. It was founded by three female scientists who wanted to help the public navigate the chaos of information. Over time, the project has grown—today, it has more than 400 members and has provided scientifically grounded written answers to over 1,300 questions. For the past two years, it has also hosted monthly debates or lectures where anyone can ask the attending scientists anything.

This year, for the Researchers' night, we are preparing two panel discussions—one at Charles University in Prague and one at Palacký University in Olomouc. At both locations, you can look forward to a group of five experts from the natural, social, and humanities sciences. Come join us—and remember, there are no stupid questions.
