Come and try an experiment to see how pH is changed by carbonic anhydrase - an indispensable enzyme that maintains a balanced pH in your body. You'll learn how this enzyme is linked to the growth of cancer cells and what inhibitors can help stop this growth. We will show you how carbonic anhydrase contributes to the acidic environment around cancer cells. You will learn how scientists use structural analysis and computer modelling to develop new cancer drugs.
