The plasma chemistry laboratory at the Department of Plasma Physics and Technology focuses on innovative plasma technologies and equipment for surface treatment of materials. In the framework of the Night of Scientists 2024 we would therefore like to present several prototypes of plasma sources and examples of their practical use in the laboratory as well as with our industrial partners from all over the world. In addition, we will be happy to explain how plasma surface treatments of various materials are realized and why plasma technologies are attractive to the industry. We will also experiment with several materials and measure the effect of plasma treatment.
