Visitors have the opportunity to learn about the changes in soil properties at different sites and depths. They can see soils and soil monoliths collected in different parts of the Czech Republic and physical soil samples representing different soil properties. They can also learn how climate change affects the soil and think about landscape changes through erosion simulations. Demonstrations of microbial respiration will allow visitors to discover the world of microorganisms living in the soil vicariously. They will also be able to observe chemical changes in soil properties and try simple chemical tests to determine pH.
