Workshop

Record yourself while doing sports. But forget about social media – this time, it’s all about science! Try out motion video analysis using Kinovea software and discover what you can learn from slow-motion recordings, marker tracking, differential evaluation of synchronized videos, and the assessment of repetitive movement trajectories.

🔍 The knowledge you gain can also be used at home – Kinovea is open-source software that you can install right in your living room.

Experience Science! Give your chemoreceptors a good dose of serotonin in the interactive exhibitions of the Centre of Sports Activities and the Alfons counselling centre. You will be able to try everything out yourself, and researchers from the Brno University of Technology will gladly explain anything you’re curious about. You can come anytime between 5:00 PM and midnight. The program will be interpreted into Czech Sign Language and is suitable even for parents with small children. Please enter the Machina fitness centre premises without shoes or use shoe covers provided at the entrance. The interactive exhibition will be guided by specialists from Alfons, the centre that supports students with special needs at BUT, and by experts from the Centre of Sports Activities, which educates sports technologists.
