The beauty of physical equations: Prague is the third European city to feature an equation painting in a public place.
Since July 2022, the Heyrovsky-Ilkovic equation has been painted on the side wall of the J. Heyrovsky Institute of Physical Chemistry building. The Academy of Sciences institute has thus joined the ranks of Dutch cities Leiden and Utrecht, where the idea of promoting science through equations on public buildings originated. Another equation will be painted in Vienna. This activity for science communication is part of the ONEM project.
