More than ten years of archaeological research of the Tichá locality made it possible to learn about the development of the medieval fortress and to reconstruct its form in different periods of existence. Tvrz Tichá represents one of the few cases where the results of archaeological research were followed by an extensive restoration of the original building, which brought not only the construction form of the building, but also its everyday life closer to the wider public. From a fragmentary known, almost extinct building in the area of ​​the so-called iron curtain, the fortress once again became one of the important landmarks of the region.
