The Institute of Geonics of the Czech Academy of Sciences is a research institute where research of the materials of the earth's crust is carried out. We mainly study human-induced processes that leave traces in the environment. We cooperate with many national and international institutions and partners. We use our knowledge of applied mathematics and physics, chemistry, environmental and social geography for our work.
Do you want to know how time passes in geology? How does human activity affect the environment over time? How to slow down time to see what we don't normally see?
Come and visit us during the Reseaechers'night at the Institute of Geonics. We will be available both online and in person.
